HOW WE OPERATE
Constant and active curiosity is our way of navigating the entanglements and complexities of building. Stimulating dialogue and reflection between the parties involved is therefore essential. We bring together clients, builders, engineers, craftsmen and designers to ensure it happens.
Ways of life, shared experiences, technical knowledge and cultural production provide us guidance in the search for meaningful spaces. Through economic and regulatory challenges, we are resilient in finding ways to positively impact the lives of our clients or future users.
With specific proposals to our time and place, we believe that (perhaps) good design lies in the never-ending search for timeless beauty, in an art form that demands life.
SHORT BIO
José Andrade Rocha, 1988.
Studied at Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa and Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo de São Paulo.
Collaborated with Marina Acayaba and Juan Pablo Rosenberg, in São Paulo.
Co-founded Arriba arquitectos with Filipe Ferreira in 2016.
Establishes his independent practice.
