Description
The program for this project is quite direct: a single-family house with private use of the courtyard and two small rental apartments, in order to make the reconstruction of the building economically viable.
The south façade, facing Rua Capitão Leitão, as well as the roof, maintain the existing configuration. The north facade, resulting from the extension of the building, is recognizably new, in direct response to the interior organization.
The main apartment faces the garden, to the north, occupying the entire ground floor and part of the first floor, thus ensuring privacy in the use of outdoor space. The rental apartments occupy the rest of the building, distributing the social areas on the first floor facing south, and the bedrooms on the top floor, with open views.
